Thanks for visiting us online!  We hope you will visit in person sometime soon, because we’d love to have the opportunity to meet you and minister to you.  We are a Bible-believing, Christ-centered Church.  Our desire is to see the HOPE of Christ impact our daily lives, our life together as a church and our community because of God’s great news of salvation in His precious Son.

What’s Happening at CBC?

Whether you’re a first-time visitor (in person or through the web), or if you’ve been involved at CBC for sometime, it’s encouraging to learn some of the ways that God is at work as we seek and serve Him. Here’s a quick list to give you a brief “taste” of what is happening now:

• A college and career class has been started recently during the Sunday school hour and they are currently looking at the importance of having a Biblical Worldview
• A discipleship group is meeting during the adult Sunday school class on Sunday mornings this summer at 9:30 (“The Disciple’s Cross)
• Vacation Bible School planning is in full swing for Panda-Mania (August 1-5)
• Pastor Tom is participating in a ministry project in New York City in July (Spread Truth ministries, July 17-23)
• We are getting ready to baptize a few folks and welcome in some new members
• God has united a group of men that are praying on a weekly basis at the church building on Thursday mornings at 7:30 a.m.
• The people of Calvary have identified several people in their sphere of influence who need Christ and have committed to praying for them and reaching out to them with the love of Christ.
• This is part of what God is doing in our midst these days; get involved!

New Testament Reading Plan

The Calvary church family is being encouraged to read the New Testament during the first four months of the year.  We are currently in Matthew, and will begin Acts next.  Ask Pastor Tom for a Bible reading plan bookmark if you don’t have one.  Let’s read and be changed by the Word of God!

Weather Cancellation

The children’s Christmas program is canceled for this evening and will be re-scheduled for next Sunday morning at 10:30 a.m.
